When I got really deep into Katana Zero development, there was a certain point where it became a slog. "I'm pretty much always working on something, but the weird thing is I found that I work the hardest on something when I'm procrastinating on something else.

I don't feel a need to hedge my bets anymore, but as a result, I have a huge backlog of almost-finished games I have to clear up before I go work on something new." In stereo 3D even though it is only "8 bit" graphics it looks vastly superior to "katana zeros" art style."The main reason behind me working on so many games at once was to hedge my bets, so if Katana Zero didn't work out, then at least I didn't spend the last five years of my life only working on one game that flopped," he says. You get 4 different stories and pixel art is cute ( on some platforms you can even play it in stereo 3D). Shovel knight is also superior to "katana zero". Shovel knight is basically 4 games for the price of 1. Soundtrack of "Katana Zero" is also inferior in that sense Shovel knight is very good recomendation. I think the game is worth getting for story / pixel art alone :D You can still keep it in the wishlist and be happy, if a new gorgeous 2.5D pixel art game releases. Only flaw is "The Last Night" might never be released, get big delay or go epic exlusive, if bad stuff happening :c Yes the story of Katana zero is intriguing, but albeit too short and killing the gameplay in the process :c But the gameplay of Katana zero was terrible, so there is that. On a technical & story basis superior compared to katana zero:Ĭan't comment on the gameplay of "The Last Night".
